This project was done in Portland, Oregon, Executive Producer was Katherine Fredericks and her Red Newt label. I had two of my heroes from the Holy Modal Rounders , Diesel Dave on bass and the great Roger North on drums. I did the basics and they added the solos. Turned out nice. I wrote Crazy ‘Bout Her Gravy at the supper table in Katherine’s kitchen in about 10 minutes. It came to me wholly formed and I just wrote it down!
